Ajman Free Zone Offshore Company Setup
Ajman Free Zone was established in 1988 and officially licensed in 1996 under the leadership of Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler of Ajman. This offshore zone serves as a business platform for companies, offering the benefits of an offshore entity such as zero taxation and confidentiality. It also provides investors with additional advantages and facilities.
No office or physical premises needed.
Trading within the UAE is not allowed.
Registration with the Chamber of Commerce is not required.
Founders or managers cannot normally obtain a UAE residence visa through the offshore company.
Submission of an annual audit report is not mandatory.
An offshore company in Ajman can act as a holding company to own shares in various companies registered worldwide. It can also be used as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for specific tasks. Typically, a business is structured by registering an offshore company, which then holds 100% of a UAE Freezone company. The ultimate beneficiary of the Freezone company remains the owner of the offshore company, although their name does not appear as a shareholder or director of the Freezone company.
