Tax Residency Certificate

A Tax Residency Certificate (TRC), also known as a Tax Domicile Certificate, is an official document issued to eligible government entities, companies, and individuals. It allows them to benefit from double taxation avoidance agreements on income recognized by the UAE.

 

Requirements for Individuals:

Proof that the mainland company enjoys 100% corporate tax exemption

R

Copy of Emirates ID

R

Six months of personal UAE bank statements, stamped by the bank

R

Proof of income in the UAE, such as an employment contract, share certificate, or salary certificate

R

Immigration (GDRF) report showing all entries and exits from the UAE

R

Certified tenancy contract copy or title deed, valid for at least three months prior to application

Requirements for Corporates:

Copy of a valid trade license

R

Certified tenancy contract or title deed, valid for at least three months prior to application

R

Passport, valid visa copy, and Emirates ID of the company director or manager

R

Latest certified audited financial statement

R

Last six months of the company’s UAE bank statements
